MONEY AS THE SOURCE OF BENEVOLENCE – The McCains

September 25, 2008

VIEW FROM THE NEW YORK GULAG

There are those who use power to bestow and those who use it to witthold, buying out souls a buck at a time or taking perverse satisfaction in the suffering of others.

It might be hard for Democrats to understand, but many of America’s great philanthropists were mega-buck millionaires.

Some may donate to see their names on edifices, and that is also edifying, but the McCains have enough public exposure as is. John McCain is a world renowned hero and noble man. His wife, Cindy, is an heiress and philanthropist.

And then there’s Cindy’s hands on charity work.  I’ve provided volunteer services but never in the extreme conditions that Cindy chose to endure.

Democrats used to at least pretend concern for the poor and blue collar labour, but since they took a sharp left turn some decades ago,  they blatantly divide the “proleteriat”  into manageable factions in order to transform them into voting blocks.

All the while persuading the blue collar worker and the other wise disenfranchised to donate for them, volunteer for them, skivvy for them even as they dish out globs of their hard-earned (harsh-earned) to cronies, favorites, protegees, bagmen, enforcers.

Just to keep their serfs hanging on they provide abysmal, demeaning services, demanding the sacrifice of human dignity in order to obtain sustenance and divert the inevitable rage to a party that works hard to empower and uplift all Americans.

Don’t dump Fannie Mae on the Republicans – Carter started it, Clinton strengthened it, McCain tried to stop it,  Obama’s best friend kept it going till the voting public started to see through him, then dropped this in President Bush’s lap in a McCain is “guilty by association” ploy.  Democrat congress caused it, Black congressional caucus enabled it,  and Barack Obama aka “Barry O’Bomber” says “call me.” Translation: “laisser les plebs manger le gateaux!”

What’s he’s smokin’?
